In June 2026 the JW & M Cunningham Foundation distributed $5.8 million to St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney, to support hospital priority projects, research and equipment.

- $3.1 million for ICU Redevelopment at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney
- $1.25 million over five years for the Margaret Cunningham Nursing Leadership Academy
- $1 million contribution to the ALLClear Breast Cancer Study (co-study with Garvan Institute of Medical Research)
- Post-doc Research Scientist for the Gastroesophageal Cancer Research Laboratory

- $1.5 million contribution to the 3T Siemens MRI machine
- Anaesthetics Equipment Package, including infusion pumps, TOE probes, portable ultrasound.
- 3x Stryker Power Pro-2 Stretchers for Patient Transport
Cunningham Fellows Program
- One-year extension of the Fellow in Orthopaedics Clinical Research, supervised by Prof Sean Mungovan
- One-year extension of the Fellow in Prostate Cancer, supervised by Dr Megan Crumbaker and Prof Phil Stricker
